About GetPrompting

Hey! I’m Michael. I’m an Agile Release Train Engineer by day, productivity nerd by nature, and the kind of guy who keeps too many browser tabs open, has little notes scattered everywhere, and can’t remember which way is up.
I didn’t start GetPrompting to go viral. I started it because I fell down the rabbit hole of AI and realized something that changed everything:
Most people don’t need another tool. They need a better way to use the tools they already have.
It started with curiosity. I was playing with prompts, testing tools, and automating workflows for fun, not because I had to, but because I couldn’t not do it. And the more I shared, the more people started asking:
“How did you do that?” “What’s the prompt you used?” “Is that tool actually worth it?”
So I built GetPrompting to answer those questions, and a few more I had myself.
What We’re About
I’m not a guru. I’m just building in public, learning out loud, and sharing what works.
Sometimes that’s a blog post. Sometimes it’s a prompt pack. Eventually, it’ll be a standalone app that replaces half my Notion system.
But no matter what it looks like, the mission stays the same:
Help people stop overthinking and start building with AI.
If you’re into that kind of thing, you’re in the right place.
