About GetPrompting
Practical AI workflows, prompting systems, and automation ideas for real-world work.
Hey, I’m Michael.
By day, I work as an Agile Release Train Engineer. Outside of work, I’m usually experimenting with AI workflows, testing automation ideas, reorganizing Notion for the fifteenth time, or trying to make systems a little less chaotic.
GetPrompting started because I kept running into the same problem: most people don’t need more AI tools. They need better ways to use the tools they already have.
At first, I was just experimenting for fun. Testing prompts. Building tiny workflows. Automating repetitive tasks. Breaking things. Rebuilding them better.
Then people started asking what prompts I used, whether certain tools were worth it, and how I was organizing everything. So I built GetPrompting as a place to document what I’m learning, what’s working, and how AI can fit into real workflows without turning everything into workflow spaghetti. Feel free to check out my resume, case studies, and personal experiments at michaelstables.com
What You’ll Find Here
GetPrompting is focused on practical AI implementation: prompts, workflows, automation systems, tool tests, and content systems that can actually support the way people work.

AI workflow breakdowns
Practical ways to use ChatGPT, Custom GPTs, n8n, and automation tools together.
Content and productivity systems
Ways to organize ideas, write faster, document processes, and reduce repetitive work.
Tool reviews and experiments
Notes from actually testing AI tools, not just reading feature pages.
The Goal
I’m building GetPrompting as a long-term resource for people who want to work smarter with AI without losing their own judgment, creativity, or voice in the process.
Sometimes that looks like a simple prompt tutorial. Sometimes it turns into a full workflow system or automation experiment. Either way, the goal stays the same: help people stop overthinking AI and start building practical systems that actually help.
If that sounds useful to you, you’re in the right place.
Stay sharp,
Michael
