The short version
I started GetPrompting because useful AI work needs a process around it.
By day, I work as an Agile Release Train Engineer. The useful overlap is systems: how work moves, where decisions get lost, what should be reviewed, and what can safely repeat.
GetPrompting started because I kept running into the same problem: most people do not need more AI noise. They need better ways to turn the tools they already have into repeatable work they can explain, check, and improve.
That is the lens I bring to the site: prompts are inputs, SOPs are memory, review gates protect judgment, and automation only helps when the underlying process makes sense.
Then people started asking how I was deciding what to automate, where review gates belonged, and how I was organizing the messy middle between an idea and a repeatable system. So I built GetPrompting as a place to document what I’m learning, what’s working, and how AI can fit into real workflows without making the process harder than the problem.
